2005 – Present

Coach Lilley has been with the High Point Panthers since 2005. He started out as a Parent and Coach. He is a graduate of Gates County High School. Where he excelled in Track and Field and Football; on the gridiron he played Defensive End and Fullback. In track he competed in the 400, the 4×400, the sprint medley, pole vault and discus. Upon graduation he attended Fayetteville State University. His desire is to help young boys and girls of our community to apply the lessons learned in athletic competition; discipline, integrity, setting goals and achieving those goals to all aspects of their life. As a coach He wants to instill in our youth the ability to think positively about their selves. To believe they can overcome any obstacle. Face any challenge. Climb any mountain. Cross any river. Becoming motivated, setting goals, and charging after them in an unstoppable manner.

During practice and at meets Coach Lilley can be heard telling our children “never say I can’t’’.
